Good Morning!

We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of this country!  And, what an awesome community we have too!  To top it all, we have opportunities for recreational activities that some of our up-country fellow citizens only get to experience on their holidays here!

Apart from our beautiful beaches and ocean activities, did you know that Ballito also has its own Running Club; Netball Club; Mountain Biking Club and Garden Club to name but a few?  These were some of the groups which introduced themselves at our last BOF Networking Meeting. 

I am busy putting together a page on our website listing all clubs, special interest groups and charity organisations, so if you belong to such a group, or know of any in your area which you would like to share with us, then please send me the details and I will give them a FREE listing on our website!

One of our guest speakers was the amazing Jaime Ernst, who has started a Cancer Support Group in Ballito.  She read some exerts from her personal journal, written during the time of her treatment for cancer.  It was humbling, saddening, enlightening and inspirational all at the same time - what a journey it is for those people (and their families), who have been down that road as a cancer sufferer! We also learnt about some really worthy charity projects & groups in and around the North Coast.  Their details will be posted up on our website directory under 'Charities'.  Please take a look and remember their needs when cleaning out your cupboards, kitchen, garage, etc!

Remember - every single one of us has something to give!  Whether it be a helping hand, a loving smile, our precious time or our earthly goods.  Lets make a difference in our lives and the lives of those around us - get involved and get networking!
