This year, they have many exciting projects planned, where you can make a big difference as a volunteer. All it takes is a few hours of your time- and you can help save a life.

The South African National Blood Service is launching a new volunteer programme, and they're asking for 50 hours spread over a year. There are three programmes to choose from: promotion, helping donors through the process and explaining the process to donors.

Craig hall's Food Gardens Foundation makes a lasting difference in the communities in which they're active. Rather than making once-off donations, they teach people how to grow their own food gardens so they'll always have a way to help themselves. Help them do this by donating money or office equipment. They're also looking for gifts of a car and a fridge.
