How it all started?

Soccermom cc was established in August 2006. Soccermom was started by Honorata Saar, who had left the corporate environment to complete her Masters degree studies in marketing. Honorata noticed the need for reliable one-on-one transport for families with working parents. Many families could not afford an au pair or their children were too old, and the driving services provided by individual students were not correctly administrated. The gap in the market was spotted and the concept of Soccermom was born.

Soccermom can provide hope to many moms who are looking to start up something of their own. Soccermom has grown from a “garage” start up to a reputable company serving satisfied clients throughout Gauteng. The business is now franchised with successful franchises running in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Soccermom did not follow industry norms and positioned itself carefully within specific niche within a slightly over supplied market.

Honorata has now franchised the business and has three lovely franchisee’s running their own franchises from home. One being a mom, the other a “mom to be” and the third just married. They are enjoying the freedom of working for themselves and running their own business under the guidance of the Soccermom brand.
